Summer term 1

Swallows have been working very hard this summer term, here are a few snapshots of their learning over the past few weeks!

In Maths, we have learned about data and how it can be collected and represented using bar charts or pictograms. The children made their own questionnaire, collected data and then created graphs to show their results!
We have also built dens and done some gardening and are now growing (or trying to grow!) tomatoes, strawberries, sweetcorn and some herbs!
  • A letter from Robin Hood!
Finally, we came back from half term to find that Robin Hood had left us a letter – it was attached to a tree with a real arrow!! He has invited us to apply to become one of his Merry Men, so the children are trying to become survival experts before term ends…
