Dear Kingfishers,
Working from home has certainly not been as fun as being in school with you all. I have particularly missed reading stories to you all, as I love to see your reactions to the stories we read, especially when they make you laugh.
I hope that you are still reading lots to your adults and that they can read to you too. Reading is such a great way to relax, take your mind of things and transport yourself to another world. Please carry on enjoying whichever books you enjoy.
Even though I can’t see you, I still want you enjoy hearing as many books as possible. As I read this book, I could imagine you all laughing and being annoyed by how s…l…o….w… the sloth is. I hope you enjoy hearing the story as much as I enjoyed reading it to you.
