Dear Cygnets
In the story Princess Mirror-Belle and the Dragon Pox the two characters Ellen and Princess Mirror-Belle come from different worlds. What do you think their houses look like? What do you think they might see in the land around their houses? Who do you think they might see in their world? Draw a picture of Ellen’s world and label it. Draw a picture of Princess Mirror-Belle’s world and label it. You might like to choose one of the worlds and set it up using small world toys and act out part of the story.
Today’s phonic challenge is to read the story, circle the words with the sh digraph and write them in a list. How many did you find?
Your next challenge is a cooking challenge. You need to make a card template biscuit cutter in the shape of a castle. Draw a castle shape onto a piece of card which is the size of a biscuit. Listen carefully to your adult and follow the instructions:
