Dear Cygnets
I am really looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday at our Keep In Touch session. It will be lovely to be together and for you to see your Cygnet friends.
This week’s learning is based around dinosaurs. To get you in the mood for your learning let’s start with a song. Join in with the actions and words.

Your next challenge is to draw a picture of your favourite dinosaur and label it. Why do you like it? Write a sentence to describe it. Here are some examples which might help you with your labels.
Today’s story is about a boy called Danny who went into space with his dinosaur. It is called “The Dinosaur that Pooped a Planet” by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter. Listen carefully to the story. What was the problem at lunch time? What happened next? Tell someone what happened.
Here is today’s phonics challenge. You can print it out or look at it on the screen and write your answers on paper.
Today’s White Rose Maths activities are from Week 11, Day 1. Today you will be using 2D and 3D shapes to design a rocket and command station and planning a healthy lunch for Danny and his dinosaur.
