Many of the Robins enjoyed listening to and reading the mini-book of this week’s main text: The Animals’ Wishes. It is a fun book with lots of speech sentences, as the Maker speaks to the unfinished animals – the Little One (Rabbit) and the Noisy One (Owl). The children produced some great pieces of work – ranging from spelling words from the story, creating a comic strip version, to writing speech sentences and pretending to be one of the characters and retelling part of the story as a first person narrator. Here are some photos of their work.
The Robins have also been practising their joined handwriting whilst learning at home and here are a few photos of this work.
The next selection of photos show the Robins with some of their other learning, such as their activities/tasks in Maths, Science, PSHE, French and Art.
Finally, here are a few photos of Imogen and her sister and George enjoying being outside. George and his family managed to take a super close-up photo of our class bird – the Robin!
The Robins have been working hard and producing some excellent pieces of work. However, it is also lovely to see photos of the Robins enjoying nature – walking, bird watching and exploring the outside environment.
