Cygnet Home Learning

Dear Cygnets

I am really looking forward to seeing you on Thursday. You will see some of your Cygnet friends, Mrs Goodson and me. We will have to socially distance which means that we need to keep a little space between us. I know that some of you will want to hug your friends but we need to think of some other ways to say, “Hello!” again. I would like you to listen to a story called While We Can’t Hug. Can you think of another way to greet your friends? You might give them a wave or make a heart sign with your fingers. Listen to the story and have a little think.

Today’s story is a Cygnet favourite; Oi Frog by Kes Gray and Jim Field. Listen to the story and tell someone about your favourite part.

Get your magnifying glasses out for today’s Tricky word challenge!

Today’s White Rose Maths activities are from Week 12, Day 3. Today you will be adding groups using tens frames.

Can you complete this number challenge?

Lastly you might like to do an art challenge. I wonder if your frog will sit on a leaf or a log?
