I had a wonderful day with you on Friday. I saw you smile, laugh and importantly have fun through these uncertain times. I hope you enjoyed your day too.
I want you all to know that you have all worked incredibly hard and should be immensely proud of yourselves with what you have achieved in Y6. I am proud of you all. Although you’ll be the year who do not sit SATs, I know you would have done an amazing job! SATs would have only tested specific areas and you all have so much more to give and show. So please continue your dancing, sports, music, art, writing, love of history, love of science and the outdoors, your hobbies!
Over these weeks that you you are not at school, keep looking at the school website on our Eagles page and the ‘Home Learning’ section for lots of things to do from me and the others teachers. But, remember, keep healthy and active and do things that you enjoy: play outside, do some gardening, bake some goodies, play family board games watch a favourite film or read your favourite books again.
My only last request, for now, is that you help around at home a little. Your adults will be working really hard during this time and I know they will appreciate your help.
Here are some photos from Friday for you all.
